| Abstract: | Mental Health is an integral part of one's health, and it enables people to realize their potential and cope with everyday hardships while being productive with work. This report documents my User Interface Design journey post investigating youths' perspective and comfort level concerning technology for Mental Health and understanding their requirements. Last term I began by studying HCI literature published in this field, followed by competitive analysis to map existing products, stakeholder interviews, and participant observation in a study concerning mental wellbeing. The insights from that research were implemented in an application prototype. This semester the journey began with storyboarding, making user personas, followed by information architecture and ended with prototyping and usability testing. |
