The existing system for claim processing at the institute is quite conventional and requires too much human effort. In its current state, the process of managing and approving the claims is completely man-powered with heavy use of physical documents. The process at its best is very tiring and time-consuming. Our aim is to create an online portal for the ”Finance and Accounts Department” to replace the current physical claim processing system. The portal would reduce the complexities of the process by packing all the features in a simple and easy-to-access interface. When logged into portal a user would be able to create new claims within minutes and track them across the various approval levels. Whereas the concerned authorities would be able to approve/disapprove received claims and also revert it whenever required. Thus, we target for a single destination for everything related to claim, its creation, management, tracking, and approval. |
