Abstract

ERP is an integral system in our Institute for managing academic data pertaining to students and professors. The current ERP system has certain issues in functionality, usability concerns, redundancies. We propose to redevelop this system such that these problems are dealt with and those mechanisms which are currently missing from ERP are implemented. We initially conduct user study of the current ERP system and critically analyse the system ourselves. We study about di erent background frameworks to understand the capabilties of each framework. We use Django backend, jQuery and Bootstrap frontend along with MongoDB as database for developing our system. We implement the individual modules: Moderation Meeting, Ph.D. students, Project Registration, TA allocation and M.Tech Graduation Check on this new ERP system.
