Abstract:
Live Video conferencing has become an essential part of day-to-day lives, especially during the covid times. Due to the Pandemic, there has been a significant increase in video calling applications for official meetings, educational purposes, etc. A considerable lag has been observed when these video calling applications are run on 4G internet. Sometimes there have been disconnections and stalls due to poor internet connectivity.
Thus in the project, we propose a solution to solve such issues. Often people hold multiple devices which are connected to the internet. We can use the internet from those various devices to do live video streaming. In the solution proposed, we delocalized the data sent by the streaming server over multiple devices by taking advantage of the tiling present in the H.265 video codec. The significant tiles in the live video are sent to a device with lower network latency than those with higher network latency.
