One IRD : workflow system for automation of IIIT Delhi-IRD processes

Abstract

Workflows are part of our daily life. Every process has a workflow. By automating these workflows and making them digital results in time saving, less human resource cost and error free data. IRD at IIITD has various processes like Project Manpower requests that include Job Posting, Selection Process, Hiring Requests, Financial Requests and Processing. These processes involve various workflows. We made these processes online and digital and automated the workflows involved in these processes. The aim of this project was to build an online portal for the institute that will automate the stipend processing system and will make workflows and process more efficient, secure, and robust. Along with it the project developed a robust ticketing system to make the communication between various departments efficient.
