| Abstract: | While the project is about general exploration of geometry of Banach spaces, we plan to look carefully at the following two questions: 1. Does every infinite-dimensional Banach space contain an infinite dimensional reflexive subspace or an isomorphic copy of ℓ1 or c0? 2. Does there exist an infinite-dimensional reflexive Banach space in which neither an ℓp (1 ≤ p < ∞) space, nor a c0 space can embed? |
