Abstract: In today’s world, it is no exaggeration that the environment and all its organisms face a threat due to environmental degradation of many kinds, and public transportation may be the answer to all the problems. It will help in reducing carbon footprint. Daily, about 8 million passengers in Delhi travel by DTC and DIMTS buses. They use the conventional method of ticket sale and no proper way of knowing the bus’s location and availability and no data around the public transport system. Chartr android App solved these problems, encouraging people to use buses and data around public transit, and data from the Chartr will lead to better policy making for public transportation. Chartr needed an application that does not require downloading, and many users don’t like downloading applications. For iphone users, we needed to develop an application. To solve all these problems, a PWA( progressive web app) was made, and I made the app so that users can just scan the QR on buses and buy tickets very quickly. I used react for front-end development. I implemented the front end for Chartr, One-Delhi, OSRTC, Advertisement platform and integrated back-end APIs to frontend create a custom page for payment which is common to all platforms.
