Dance, a physical art form, has been practiced, showcased and taught since ages. Recently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it shifted to an online platform and when mediated by technologies, it experienced changes with respect to learning spaces, interactions and dance classes. This report documents my qualitative research journey of exploring dance students’ experiences with online dance classes, understanding the role of technology and the requirements of students. I began with studying literature published in this field, followed by conducting participant observations, video analysis and interviews. The insights from this research could be used to design better technologies which support dance teaching and performances online.en_US
