| Abstract: | A rapid growth in the amount of fake news on social media is a very serious concern in our society. Fake news are usually created by making changes to text, images, audio, and videos. To bust these fake news, there are many IFCN certified fact-checking websites available on the internet. Even though these fact-checking websites are available on the internet, going through each and every of these websites and searching for a specific fake news can become cumbersome. The proposed system system tries to fetch the fake news from the IFCN certified fact-checking websites for India, and give an interface to the end users to conveniently be able to check if a news available on the internet (on websites like Twitter) is an actual news or a fake news based on the database so created by scraping the data from the fact-checking websites. |
