| dc.description.abstract | The project is aimed at enhancing a collection of web portals within the broader framework of the Facility Hub application. Comprising of eight distinct portals, each either ready for production or in the final stages of readiness, the primary objective of this work was to prepare them comprehensively for testing and eventual deployment for student use. The scope of the project necessitated extensive engagement with legacy codebases, encompassing multiple web frameworks, intricate database structures, nuanced network configurations, and meticulous web engine configurations. The iterative development process involved rigorous testing with stakeholders, leading to iterative improvements based on feedback. Concurrently, significant efforts were directed towards optimizing server configurations for seamless application deployment. The findings and experiences shared herein contribute to the broader discourse on effective web development methodologies and best practices. | en_US |
