dc.description.abstract This project is in continuation with the previous semester. The previous semester's work revolved around understanding the Indian health care system, with the primary focus on all aspects related to prescriptions. This is because a prescription is an import therapeutic transaction between the physician, patient and the pharmacist. This semester's work focuses on two solutions proposed for two different problem statements: Resolve or Refer and Bidding System. Resolve or refer, RoR system is used to ease the whole process of referral of the patients from one hospital to another, about which detailed description is given in the following chapters. Bidding System will improve the communication gap between Doctors and Pharmacists. Bidding system focuses on the problem of patients because they are unable to compare prices of medicines provided by pharmacies and there are chances that someone has a low price or a greater discount on medicines. To solve this problem we propose a solution where a patient can ask nearby pharmacies to bid on the prescription and get a lower price than in hand. en_US
