dc.description.abstractRadio Frequency Identification(RFID) has been gaining popularity recently over barcodes for a wide range of applications like inventory control, supply chain management, manufacturing,etc. With the increasing popularity comes the risk of security and privacy. Cost is another factor that industry can not ignore. It is a challenge to make a low cost RFID system. This report discusses the working of a reader for chipless RFID tags. Then the report focuses on a technique to enhance the security of the system by encoding the tag information. The report then focuses on software simulation and hardware implementation of the reader.en_US
