Abstract:
In the eld of cognitive neuroscience and biomedical engineering, there has been an increasing interest in the eld of study of functional brain networks. This allows us to have a better understanding of it's responses to diferent stimulus or activity. This research work uses EEG source connectivity measure called partial correlation to achieve the same goal. Network science measures and graph theoretical methods were used to characterize the functional connectivity of the brain network. Our target is determining the properties of the nodes and the communities within the brain. These networks are generally result from similar analysis over many subjects which are then subject summarized to remove inter-subject variability. The proposed methodology is implemented over healthy-EEG (electroencephalogram) data collected from Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. We discovered and compared various ways to generate and infer the functional brain network between ASD and healthy subjects when subjected to music.
