Lack of hand-hygiene is one of the major causes of the spread of various bacterial diseases. Proper hand hygiene can be pivotal in the prevention of such healthcare-associated infections. In this project, we come up with a deployable product for the monitoring of handwashing compliance. With the use of Internet of Things and Wireless Sensor Network technologies, we are able to collect the handwashing events of the user. The cloud-connected dispensers aid in real-time measuring of hand hygiene compliance. The visualisation of the real-time data can be done using the designed web portal. Self-compliance tracking facility has been provided to the user through an android app. The system is easily installable and scalable to any number of users.en_US
