<summary type="text">Identification and understanding of campaign advocates
Mohan, Tushar
Twitter has emerged as a prominent social media platform for activism and counterpublic narratives. The counterpublics leverage hashtags to build a diverse support network and share content on a global platform that counters the dominant narrative. This paper applies the framework of connective action on the counter-narrative campaign over the cause of death of #SushantSinghRajput. We combine descriptive network, modularity, and hashtag based topical analysis to identify three major mechanisms underlying the campaign: generative role taking, hashtagbased narratives and formation of alignment network towards a common cause. Using the case study of #SushantSinghRajput, we highlight how connective action framework can be used to identify different strategies adopted by counterpublics for the emergence of connective action. Then we do a descriptive network analysis from connective action framework on Citizenship Amendment Act campaign to get see how campaigners and counter-campaigners aligned via follower network. Then, we study how hateful users exploited the elements of protest mobilization (i.e., resources and ability to use them) during the divergent discourse on #CitizenshipAmendmentAct in India. We also build a stance-aware hate detection pipeline which outperforms the pervious models. Lastly, we compare and contrast the positions the opposing stance users take during the online discourse.

Delhi is divided into eleven districts which have a total of thirty-three sub-districts. The website has a map starting from the district level and later going to the sub-district level as performed by the user. Digitizing neighborhoods of Delhi, a destination, a “Website” for every citizen, student, parent, historian, faculty, and more, where they can be provided all the information about a neighbor (place) in Delhi. Since this city promises a better life by providing many opportunities for a better life, the population has increased, and it also has multiple tourist attraction spots. To cope with the vast population, the government is trying to digitize any possible service so no person can be held behind due to labor limitations. This destination consists of History, Geography, Demography, Social/Culture Type, Economy, Landmarks, Schools/Universities, Parks, Rental Market, Property Prices, and many more. The information about all the parameters is collected manually via research and surveys done by students involved in the project.

Dance, a physical art form, has been practiced, showcased and taught since ages. Recently, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it shifted to an online platform and when mediated by technologies, it experienced changes with respect to learning spaces, interactions and dance classes. This report documents my qualitative research journey of exploring dance students’ experiences with online dance classes, understanding the role of technology and the requirements of students. I began with studying literature published in this field, followed by conducting participant observations, video analysis and interviews. The insights from this research could be used to design better technologies which support dance teaching and performances online.

Satellite land use land change (LULC) data and district-level administrative data indicate an intensification of cropland usage (single to multi-crop transition) in India between 2005-06 to 2018-19. This study attmepts to compare the two data sets and utilizes administrative data at district level to model the impact of various factors on crop intensification and understand the decisions of the farmer driving the same.
