<description>Growing pains: exploring the struggles of PCOS through a painted animation
Goel, Smera; Ratn, Anoop (Advisor)
The painted animation technique is a mixed media approach towards animation. It involves physically manipulating paint and capturing it digitally to produce an animation. Physically painting the frames gives it a textured and dynamic feel that is hard to mimic via digital alternatives. My work in this project this semester comprises studying the effects of PCOS, preparing the storyboard for the final animation and developing the film. This report details the production part of the process.

Colocated experiences among strangers open a door to opportunities to allow meaningful experiences shared by people who have never met before. These experiences are complex in their approach, aim, and involvement of participants. Through this report, we scope out the current research space in colocated experiences and try to understand how these experiences can be used for strangers by researching how icebreaking can be tackled effectively. We encounter Asymmetry that encourages communication in experiences and can be readily leveraged by AR, becoming our prime area of focus. We finally introduce our study by discussing our study design and experience design, and discuss our future direction in a concluding remark.

<title>Giving indian stories a platform</title>
<link>http://repository.iiitd.edu.in/xmlui/handle/123456789/1215</link>
<description>Giving indian stories a platform
Singh, Advika; Eden, Grace (Advisor)
Storytelling is the art of sharing stories. This art has existed for centuries varying in different forms. This report looks at the technological intervention into this art. These tools vary according to the use. Giving each and every voice a platform to share their story. These platforms work differently than traditional methods and provide perks much greater. However, there are still gaps to bridge between the traditional way of storytelling. This report would go into depth about the user experiences for these online platforms. It would consider both the authors and the readers' side and gain knowledge of how the users interact with the technologies present. It would also provide an insight into the effects these platforms would have on them.
