Abstract: The food industry is rapidly evolving, driven by increasing consumer demand for personalized, healthy, and sustainable dietary options. However, product development within the food sector continues to rely heavily on inefficient, trial-and-error methods, often leading to high failure rates. This project introduces Foodoscope, a comprehensive computational gastronomy api platform designed to address these inefficiencies through data-driven innovation. At its core, Foodoscope offers a modular API suite that provides real-time insights into flavor com patibility, nutritional breakdown and ingredient substitutions. This API is tailored for integration with food-tech businesses, health platforms, and culinary R&D teams. Complementing the API is a consumer-facing Health and Fitness App that delivers personalized meal planning, nutritional tracking, and culturally adaptive recipe recommendations, powered by AI and user data. Through extensive research, prototype development, and market validation, this project demon strates the feasibility and strategic value of combining food data with intelligent digital solutions. Foodoscope not only empowers businesses to streamline product development but also enhances consumer engagement with nutrition, paving the way for scalable, tech-enabled food innovation in India and beyond.
