dc.description.abstract Public Transportation systems are the backbone of urban mobility, providing essential services to meet the increasing demand for affordable and efficient transportation. This report addresses the Transit Network Design Problem (TNDP) by focusing on designing scalable routes and frequencies that maximize demand satisfaction within tight budgets faced by many transportation corporations. Our approach incorporates Column Generation to iteratively refine Transit Network designs. The method leverages a grid-based transit network model and extends it to be scalable and account for time-varying Origin-Destination (OD) demands, reflecting realistic fluctuations in passenger requirements throughout the day. en_US
