Receptor status analysis for breast cancer using multi-modal datasets

Abstract

Multi-modal data analysis has emerged as a crucial approach to understanding the complexities of cancer biology. This project focuses on TCGA-BRCA datasets, utilizing imaging data from the TCIA website and corresponding metadata from cBioPortal. A graphical representation of the integrated data was developed to provide meaningful insights. The primary goal of this project is to enhance the understanding of breast cancer by comparing datasets, uncovering patterns, and enabling improved data-driven decision-making. This report details the methodology, challenges faced, and insights gained, emphasizing the significance of multi-omics research.
