dc.description.abstract Delhi has been ranked the most polluted city in the world. The air quality has been reported to be far above the safe limits. Our project aims to bring forth insights into the aspects that affect the quality of the air. We have used Ecosteps Laboratory Proprietary Chemical Sensor, IndiaSpend Air Quality Index Monitoring System and Airveda Air Quality Monitor throughout the project. In order to calibrate the IndiaSpend sensors, we synced their values with the EcoSteps sensor and the Airveda sensor. Using the regression models, we have come up with functions to accurately produce the IndiaSpend sensor values for PM 2.5 and PM 10. We then studied the skew between two IndiaSpend sensors and also came up with a regression model for the same. We deployed these two sensors on the first and eleventh floors respectively of the faculty residence in order to observe the change in air quality with altitude. We studied the effect of other factors like temperature and time of the day. We have collected pollution data from these sensors over a year which includes Diwali days, Holi days and a change of four seasons. en_US
